BankFinder utilizes BACS data to enable quick, accurate completion and validation of user payment details to online or in-house systems. This is essential to the successful use of BACS (Bankers Automated Clearing House) It will check account number validity for bank branch, identify card type (e.g. visa, amex, switch), normalize account numbers to 8 digits, check if sort code exists and is 'live' and identify and correct errors in bank details.
BankFinder will cut the cost of delayed processing (up to £20 per delayed form), avoid losses from forms that can never be processed and speed up collection of bank related data for financial transactions.
