Additional Product Information

Biwer and Associates, Inc. develops software geared toward the payment of growers and producers of agricultural commodities. Our applications manage the entire procurement process, including managing producer profiles, agreements and contracts, receiving, pricing calculations, generation of payments and deductions, along with various options for output: online grower statements, dynamic (XML) web reports, “What If” scenarios, etc..

We are involved in the procurement workflows of over 25 different commodities, including fluid milk, fruits, grains, and livestock for companies like Cargill, J.M. Smucker, Sunsweet, Welch’s, Land O Lakes and Riceland Foods.

Our application, called the Commodity Procurement System (CPS) was created to provide highly flexible, configurable software for organizations that need to react to constantly changing business environments, in turn saving them from the burden of rewriting the software with each response to change. This philosophy has been maintained throughout the product’s development.

CPS should be viewed as a fully integrated system that fills the gaps found in an organization’s enterprise resource planning systems.
