Feed Ration Balancer (FRB) from FMS is the leading multi-species modeling tool for the commercial feed industry that enables feed manufacturers to develop customized rations for any specific group of animals: dairy, beef, swine, sheep, poultry or horse.
Housed in a single database, FRB is the only software solution that contains all of the National Research Council’s nutrient restrictions and equations for each species, including the 2001 Dairy NRC. This advanced tool enables users to develop custom feeds and supplements, create feeding programs and projections, and balance on-farm rations.
FRB is deployed as part of a feed management system by livestock specialists, nutritionists, veterinarians, researchers, feed consultant and research/teaching facilities to customize the nutrient requirement calculations, printouts and performance projections for each animal.
