TYX is part of an innovative team lead by Aeroflex/Lintek that is developing an advanced virtual RF test system for Hughes Space and Communications (HSC) in El Segundo, CA. HSC produces many sophisticated satellites for military and commercial uses and requires the most efficient ATS approaches available. ;Projections call for a reduction in test time from 42 shifts for integration test to 6 or less shifts with this innovative solution.;One of the exciting developments on ARTS is the addition of the capability of the Test Controller to provide APIs to support multiple Test environments, including PAWS and LabWindows/CVI. This concept is easily extensible to support other vendor offerings such as HP-VEE.
