Additional Product Information

AMIS is a completely customized and versatile application developed ;for Airlines to manage their entire activities. This system covers ;all aspects of airline's requirements in modular structure and ;effectively creates a paper-less office. It consists of following ;modules: ;1. Finance & accounting;2. Reservation & ticketing;3. Inventory & procurement;4. Flight operation and engineering;5. Personnel & payroll and ;6. Marketing & statistics; All these modules are presented with aesthetically pleasing ;interfaces using standard Windows style menu and toolbar. The ;modules work independently as well as in integrated environment ;sharing data among themselves. As the system runs under Oracle RDBMS ;and Windows based clients, it is truly a client/server and multi-user ;environment and a secure system that can handle large database of an ;airlines on-line. The system employs four levels of user security ;that can effectively restrict a user from accessing unauthorized data.;Many controls have been implemented internally so that users can not ;play around and manipulate the organization's rules. Credit limits to ;the sales agents, fake ticket identification, un-ticketed passenger ;catching, random booking monitoring, over-staffing, under-staffing, ;earned and unearned revenue, daily bank balances, daily revenue and ;expense, expense controlling, genuine over time claims, aircraft wise ;expense recording etc. are some of the controls that are implemented ;in the system. Management can easily parameterize these controls and ;take access of these parameters so that none of the users can ;manipulate the system. All transactions, then, are tracked based on ;these controls and no-one can exceed these pre-defined controls.;As the system runs under multi-user environment, many users can work ;together to feed in data from different modules and get appropriate ;reports. The management can similarly, look into the total system ;data generating various MIS reports.;Input forms can easily be customized as per user requirements and ;similarly output reports can be altered accordingly.
