The core of the system provides detailed information to the telephonists whilst guiding their progress through the call without being over-restrictive on the order the bet is laid as customer requirements are extremely diverse. It automatically settles many different bet types and ensures valid entry into system including customer fund availability and limited liability. BOS is a Real-Time system, as soon as a competition is finished the customers winnings are available to spend within seconds. Peripheral modules include Customer Services, Real-Time Liabilities, MIS, Electronic Information Feed of Prices etc, Links to Accounting System including Statement Printing and various User Utilities.
