Small job, Summary or Handyman style estimating done by adding each task to a job with its unique text, labor, materials and miscellaneous charges and/or by using the Estimate Database of tasks you have stored. This database contains the labor and materials breakdown and gives you a base for unit costing and pricing. That breakdown follows each transactions through the entire process, into generated Labor Tickets and into accounting, posting the labor, materials and miscellaneous revenue items for Job Costing.
The contractor bidding on complex jobs or who desires to estimate on a line item basis can build projects of many items and sub-assemblies. Assign phases to all parts of a project, and see the resulting sequencing of individual items within each assembly and those dependencies, intricately carried through to the Job Schedule. Assign Job Costing categories that are carried into integrated Accounting and Job Costing.
