Additional Product Information

Genesis Open from TISL is a new generation call management system designed to arm companies with the information they need to take advantage of changing carrier tariffs, plan and manage their telephony networks, carry out departmental billing and even identify telephone fraud.;It is a powerful NT-based client/server application that allows users to query, analyse and report call management data collected directly from the PBX network. It is capable of logging calls from any number of different vendors? switches, local or remote. ;Call data collected by Genesis Open is merged with company-specific information held in the system?s powerful SQL relational database management system. TISL has introduced easy-to-use ?wizards? to guide users through the process of setting up the database - comprising organisational structure, network topology and key asset information - against which the system logs data and runs reports. ;Genesis Open is supplied with an extensive range of reports and uses Business Objects, one of the leading query and reporting tools, to provide fast, flexible presentation of management information. From simple tables to advanced multi-detail graphs and charts, the reports provide an insight to most frequently dialled numbers, trunk utilisation, most expensive calls, response performance and a host of other information. ;The system can incorporate up to 1000 costed carriers per PBX and allows users to define appropriate discounting schemes. This structure enables companies to take advantage of reductions in tariffs, even if these are temporary sales promotions, or to run ?what if?? scenarios for specific time periods on different carrier tariffs.;Genesis Open accommodates unlimited organisational tiers and is capable of reporting on cost centres, departments and workgroups distributed across the network and attached to various PBXs. The ability to log and report upon individual roles within the organisation also means that users can obtain business intelligence on the telephone usage of all the employees across the organisation.;The system?s document agent facility manages and schedules the production and distribution of reports to a printer, by e-mail or to the corporate intranet in HTML format.
