The Customer Information System (CIS) is an advanced Contact Management/ Customer Relationship Management System that allows an organization to manage their customers, leads and prospects. The CIS system provides extensive name and address demographics for a business-business (B to B) or business-consumer (B to C) relationships. CIS will allow a programmer to easily link CIS to any existing applications (Order Processing, Manufacturing Status, Accounts Receivable, Sales Analysis, Vendor Analysis and more). User definable function keys can be set-up to synchronize addresses between multiple databases if required. CIS can also be used as a front end for other non-customer functions such as warranty tracking, return authorization processing and other functions that may not include direct customer relationships. The system has six user defined function keys for exit points. Extensive note taking with word wrap make contact management quick and easy. All contacts are recorded by date and time with follow-up dates and times. The CIS System has an integrated Mail List Management System. Sample mailings can be processed for mail sampling. History of these accounts can be recorded. Mailing can also create tickler for sales rep follow-ups. The merge/purge can be performed during batch processing or can be performed interactively. The interactive merge/purge will merge all contacts and activity from the purged account to the saved account. The name/address fields supports up to six lines plus City, State and Postal codes. Provisions are also made for foreign countries with standard country codes. The system provides for more than one million user definable fields. These fields are defined in a page/element format with an easy-to-use setup. The entire user defined fields can be selected as a function of the mail list management. A literature fulfillment module is part of the basic system. This allows sales consultants to set up pick tickets for sales materials to be sent to customers or prospects. CIS supports multiple databases. The system supports multiple contacts per location with complete demographics. Extensive reporting capabilities with a user defined report and sort sequences make CIS a very user-friendly system. Easy to use and easy to implement is the way that customers describe CIS.
