The system's business rules engine allows you to automate your processes by defining when rules run (on creating/editing/deleting records, or time-based, or when an aggregated condition is met), and then defining a series of actions that should occur when records are found that meet criteria you specify. These actions can include a combination of email notifications, field updates, script actions, and more.

The graphical workflow editor allows you to define valid states for each table, and to create actions and guards associated with the transitions from one state to another (automatically sending an email to a customer when their support issue is Closed, for example, that includes the solution and a hyperlink to the ticket).

Staff users can also search for "standard solutions" so that they can quickly close tickets based on similar previously submitted issues, and choose which records to publish in an online FAQ. Full-text searching capability allow you to always find what you're looking for, and supports searching within attached files.
