FALCON is a data entry system for the mainframe, with compatible PC versions also available. Hardware independent, FALCON captures and validates data input from keyboards and keyless devices. PF keys issue many functions and 4 to 6-character commands perform data validation and manipulation without user exit programs. On-line help provides assistance for commands, fields, and functions. FALCON performs across multiple operating systems from VSE, z/OS, and VM, to PC-DOS, Windows, and LANs, and runs as a stand-alone VTAM application and/or under CICS. DASD command chaining, memory management, and internal dataset caching reduce I/O and conserve CPU resources. FALCON includes multiple levels of security and interfaces with most security packages. FALCON supports execution of REXX procedures.
