Order Entry and Visibility;VIAWARE OMS communicates directly with your customers via electronic data interchange (EDI) from their order management system, fax or manual entry. Using any of these methods, VIAWARE OMS is able to accept inventory, produce work orders and confirm order completions. ;Once orders are entered, VIAWARE OMS provides complete visibility to order status before and after orders are completed, and enables each customer to view only their inventory, even when intermingled with other customers. Information on order and inventory statuses are available to any authorized user, anywhere over the Internet.;VIAWARE OMS allows you to intermingle multiple customers' inventories within the same warehouse or even location and maintains detailed product records (quantity, lot, serial #, etc.) to facilitate accurate picking or to allow for later separation. It collaborates with VIAWARE WMS to manage your multiple customer inventories, by maintaining accurate, real-time knowledge of product ownership, associated storage and product handling costs, and detailed information on order status. This maximizes your space utilization, reduces the need for additional storage locations and allows you to accommodate increases and decreases in customer inventory levels. ;Automated Billing;VIAWARE OMS maintains accurate records on space, service and handling costs for each customer based on your contracted rates. Billing information is then collected and automatically generated based on your negotiated agreements with each customer. This allows you to maintain separate rates for all warehousing and transportation services and configure them into the system to be billed automatically.
