The Vertex eFulfillment system provides a comprehensive solution for all of your order fulfillment and warehouse automation needs. All order processing requirements within the four walls of your distribution center are managed by the Vertex eFulfillment system. The system provides a single point of contact to your host or enterprise solution, it controls all aspects of order fulfillment through RF, Pick-to-Light, Carousel, Cart and other paperless picking solutions, and it controls other mission critical processes such as electronic scales, conveyors, diverters and sorters. In addition, eFulfillment has interface capabilities with SAP R/3 by utilizing the Remote Function Call (RFC) technology of SAP R/3 which enables the communication of information between the systems.
The PicRite system is used in all types of flow rack, shelving, and pallet flow order picking applications. The system guides each picker to the products to be picked for each carton, specifies the quantities required and allows the picker to indicate pick complete or shortages directly at the pick location. When required, the system supports lot and serial number control.
The TurnRite system, used in all types of carousel batch order processing applications, controls all industry standard horizontal and vertical carousels and supports multiple workstation operations, with each workstation consisting of multiple carousels. The TurnRite system combines carousel pick and batch put operations, as well as carousel restocking and cycle counting functions. The system controls the rotation of the carousel to deliver product to the picker, and uses light guided displays in a tower opposite the carousel to direct the picker to the proper bin pick location.
PutRite system is used in a variety of applications where products brought in full cases are distributed to individual cartons typically representing store orders. The system guides the distribution of product to the appropriate put location for each store carton and specifies the quantity required. The system tracks all product quantities put into each carton and maintains product requirements.
The CartRite system is the perfect solution for applications with large numbers of medium-to-slow moving SKU?s. The CartRite System offers low cost, accurate, high-speed picking for areas not equipped with a pick-to-light system. CartRite combines computer controlled loose or split case picking with batch processing. CartRite controls batch picking into shipping cartons or totes by directing users to the proper warehouse location for each pick and indicating the quantity required for each carton/tote. The system?s intelligent light modules with alphanumeric displays support simultaneous loose and pack picking.
