BookNet is a 32bit Windows based product for the bookselling market. It is a genuine multi-store system and uses TCP/IP as the communication protocol. It suits both commercial and educational markets in that it incorporates an optional textbook management module for campus bookshops. The modules provided are:;Point of Sale;Mail and Telephone Sales;Web sales;Special orders;Inventory management;Purchasing management;Pick and Pack;Financials;The system is written in Microfocus Netexpress and has been in use since 1997 as a standalone system as an a multi-store store sytem covering several states and operating in a WAN environment.
