Additional Product Information
Historically, Retalix has not offered host applications to Tier 1 grocery chains. ReMA?s outstanding scalability allows Retalix, for the first time, to offer a Host offering to Tier 1 Supermarkets. The inclusion of back-office functionality in ReMA, allows retailers to eliminate back-office hardware and software from the stores. Another major saving is being able to upgrade the back-office software in a single location rather than in hundreds, or thousands of stores.
ReMA, (Retalix e-marketplace applications), is a web-based platform for supporting store and headquarter activities within a retail environment. Because the platform is web-based, the physical limitations and barriers of where an application and it?s data resides (at the store or at the headquarters) begins to diminish, based off the fact that it is hosted in a central environment and accessed through the web by stores and headquarter personnel. By tightly integrating with the in-store POS, ReMA is able to break down the barriers of accessing store sales data. This is done by trickle feeding store POS sales data into ReMA, to allow a near real-time view of sales activities, accessed anywhere through a web-browser. Additionally, ReMA provides the ability to report against this sales data and improves reaction time to sales trends.
