Solve/SE is The Logic Group’s core payment card validation and authorisation product. Since its launch Solve/SE has had continual investment and many new features have been added. Usually situated at the head office or store back office, Solve/SE receives messages from the front-end data entry system and performs local checks before deciding whether the transaction needs to go on-line for authorisation (depending on floor limits and other user configuration settings). Solve/SE can authorise a transaction locally or format a message to obtain on-line authorisation. A message is sent to the acquiring bank for authorisation, the response message is then sent back to the front end via Solve/SE.
Solve/SE can also handle ICC Smart Card transaction messages, and will integrate seamlessly with The Logic Group’s EMV Level 2 integration product Smart-Switch.
