individual modules include check authorization (positive file verification, with in-line processing backup in the stores using the isp; debt collection for bad checks; a voice authorization module to support credit if lines are down; a gift card program that acts like a rechargeable telephone card; an in-house store charge card module; and a script card program, which allows you to sell discounted gift cards to schools etc and eliminate the administration associated with this activity.;midax also collects all data from discreet subsystems in a store chain (inventory management, POS, DSD, time and attendance, security, accounts etc) and maintains it in a data warehouse, that provides a common reporting and enquiry structure for all data in the chain. part of this data warehouse is a sophisticated frequent shopper module. ;on top of this, midax also provides a central buying and pricing system, that feeds off the data warehouse, presenting buyerswith detailed transactional data from the POS through the warehouse to vendor activity.
