WinOcular is a multi-format image and information manager for stand alone and LAN based PC's running Microsoft Windows 3.x , Windows 9x, or Windows NT and Centura (formally Gupta) Technologies (SQLBase), Oracle, or MS SQL Server SQL compliant relational databases. The ability to effectively use large volumes of information regardless of file format or storage location is accomplished through custom index sets, index input screens, and query screens that can be easily generated by the end-user to suit a broad range of retrieval requirements. Through multi-column lists the user can rapidly find, select, and display an item within the selected database by item type. With the full-text retrieval feature, items can be located by content, that is, by words and phrases that occur within the item.
