Designed to link Lotus LAN-based email software seamlessly to the IBM Office (and compatible systems) environment, the "DGAteway" range of products is an important component in the coexistence and migration plans for any business with Lotus and IBM host email systems.;DGAteway supports email exchange from Lotus Domino to all SNADS and NJE compliant systems including IBM OfficeVision/400 on AS/400, IBM OfficeVision/MVS with DISOSS, IBM Global Network/Mail Exchange, NetSys (was Verimation's) Memo with SNADS, Fischer Intl. TAO with SNADS, Keane (was ICOM Solution's) OfficePath, IBM OfficeVision/VM, IBM PROFS, and NETDATA (CMS sendfile).;DGAteway is designed for resilience and performance in the corporate messaging environment. Operating on the Lotus Domino server, DGAteway transparently converts text and user addresses in electronic mail as they are transferred between Domino and the host office system. Users send and receive messages from their normal email client using normal addressing, and can receive status messages (where the partner system supports them) as usual.;When installed by the DGAteway 'installation and configuration' application the gateway picks up mail from Domino domains using a gateway mail database, and introduces mail from the host systems using the Domino API. Mail content and addresses are converted and then queued in a safe store-and-forward message system before being transferred to the host system using IBM SNA native communications.;Installed at major Domino customer data centers, DGAteway is a proven component for your email coexistence and Domino migration strategy.
