multiDESK Workflow is a workflow automation system featuring integrated graphical workflow design and tracking for Windows platforms. It transforms existing office applications into powerful workflow systems. Standard office automation functions (e.g. word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, e-mail, archiving, etc.) and existing mainframe applications can be readily integrated in workflow processing. The system is database-based, yet database-independent. Its integrative power is based on the use of international standards and standard interfaces, making integration an administrative task and programming superfluous. Another multiDESK component is a graphical workflow design tool enabling organizational structures to be modeled according to CCITT LDAP/X.500.
