AcademicEdge, an Academic Information Management System developed by AcademicEdgeOnline, automates the critical business information of institutions of higher learning. The system comprises eight modules, Recruitment, Admissions, Registrar, Student Transcript (Electronic Data Interchange-EDI), Financial Aid, Direct Loan, Bursar and Alumni that may be installed and operated individually or in any combination as an integrated system. They are highly modularized but sufficiently integrated to support an institution's total information needs. AcademicEdge can be easily integrated with legacy data and with systems for Human Resources and Finance & Accounting from other vendors. AcademicEdge is a Java J2EE aplication that cn be hosted in any Application Server (JBoss, Tomcat, WebSphere, ...), Database erver (MySQL, Oracle, ...), and any LDAP Server (OpenLDAP, ...).
