Build It Live was designed specifically for the construction Industry. Construction projects typically involve owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, vendors, laborers and many more. The difficulty has been keeping all involved up to date on the latest drawings, schedules, and changes that typically occur on a project. Constantly checking emails or running off new copies of drawings isn’t always practical or very cost effective.
Build It Live is a (SaaS) construction project management software program that allows construction project participants an easy way to collaborate online. The site owner of Build It Live uploads all the documents online. There is no software to load on a computer, so it can be accessed anywhere and at anytime. All participants involved in a project can be given a password to log into the site. Whenever changes are made to a project, all the participants can automatically be emailed about these changes. With all documents available online there is no worry of someone having out of date material or being on a different schedule.
For those with multiple construction projects occurring simultaneously, it becomes a significant effort to manage all the drawings, all the RFIs, and other project related information. With Build It Live, material related to each project is kept in its own clearly marked folders online so you can easily access the material on which project you’re currently working.

It can be even easier to access your project documents thanks to Mobile PlanRoom an iPad application that Ross designed for contractors and engineers working in the field. This app not only allows access to drawings, but can be zoomed in on to make it easier to check out specific details. This app has been approved by Apple and is available to download at their iPad App store.
