CFD++ is a very flexible Computational Fluid Dynamics software suite, based on three unifying principles. These principles are: "unified-grid", "unified-physics", and "unified-computing". The unified-grid framework (otherwise known as grid-transparent) unifies the treatment of different cell shapes and grid topologies so that the flow solver becomes equally applicable to all topologies. The unified-physics treatment allows one to have the means to solve different sets of governing equations and provides the modularity so that the same computational framework can handle incompressible flows as well as low and high-speed compressible flows, with and without reactions. The unified-computing capability allows total portability between different computing platforms.
