BeamPROP is the award-winning CAD/Simulation program for design of integrated or fiber-optical waveguide devices and circuits. It is the only software package available to offer a range of advanced capabilities, including bi-directional BPM, full-vectorial simulations, advanced Pade techniques and radial BPM. In addition, BeamPROP has a special "simulation region" feature that allows photonic device and circuit designers to break down their simulations into "zones" and apply different parameters and methods to each one, as needed. BeamPROP was recently awarded the Attendees Choice Award in the Design Tools category by Lightwave Magazine, at OFC 2001. BeamPROP was also recently chosen as an Editor's Choice selection in the October 2001 Fiber Optic Product News. Applications include WDM components, modulators, switches, laser structure, Arrayed Waveguide Gratings, MMI devices, specialty fibers and sensor structures.
