ApsimIBIS-LCR extracts electrical parasitics from IC package CAD data and then presents the models in industry standard IBIS or SPICE format.The electrical models then can be analyzed by ApsimIBIS-LCR using the SI time domain simulation tool or exported in the standard formats. The software is integrated with industry standard CAD packages. ApsimIBIS-LCR can analyze BGA, MCM, CSP and MEMORY MODULES as well as other emerging packaging technologies. The resulting models allow engineers to analyze the package for electrical noise issues such as cross-talk, reflections and SSO or ground bounce. ApsimIBIS-LCR is used to optimize performance and pin counts.
