AnTherm Heat2D/Heat3D Steady State Thermal Bridges by Tomasz Kornicki, DL in EDV&IT

Pending - What's this?

Steady state thermal heat flow 3D and 2D modelling, building physics simulation and extensive visualization of building details with thermal bridges.

Interactive 2D and 3D visualizations of thermal processes support a better understanding of them and can easily be used as planning or component optimisation support, as well as in research or education.
“If houses could talk …” they would tell us endless stories of avoidable building defects and planning errors resulting from the blind fear of the – from today's perspective no longer existent - complexity of specialised investigation. Thanks to the state of the art computer-aided visualisation methods, heat flow processes are easily “made perceivable” and integrated in the highest quality to the desktops of building physics experts. Thermal bridges can be explored and examined in an almost playful, enjoyable manner.

Additional Product Information

AnTherm (Analysis of Thermal behavior of Building Constructions with Heat Bridges) is a powerful program used for heat flow calculation in building construction elements - the thermal heat bridges. Thermal Heat / Cold Bridge simulation software AnTherm calculates the distribution of temperature, heat streams within building components of arbitrary form and built as composite of arbitrary materials. Furthermore AnTherm can compute and evaluate the dew point values (condensing humidity) at all component surfaces. For the technically qualified designer, AnTherm is a reliable, indispensable tool in meeting the demands of the current standards (ISO, EN, ...) for evaluating thermal performance thoroughly and precisely.

It directly calculates characteristic indicators for the construction, such as linear (or point) thermal transmittance or the matrix of thermal coupling coefficients (i.e. boundary conditions independent results).

AnTherm facilitates generation of geometrical models through a graphic input display of building structures, as well as by providing very fast, fully automated generation and precise solution of the underlying numerical model. AnTherm allows the user to control the precision of numerical solutions through parameters.

Audience: Building physics consultants, energy performance assessors, designers, engineers, architects, moisture analysis experts, insurance analysts, building product developers, researchers, teachers and students.
