Additional Product Information

Cadpress is a general purpose finite element compression molding simulation program. It calculates the mold filling, pressure and velocity distributions, fiber orientation, anisotropic material properties, curing behavior, and the shrinkage and warpage of the final part. Cadpress has been developed over the past two decades and encompasses the combined work of over a dozen Ph.D. researchers. Cadpress is a finite element based simulation package that has become the standard for the compression molding industry. Cadpress can simulate the entire molding process for fiber reinforced thermoset compression molding all the way from mold filling to prediction of residual stresses and warpage of the final part. Since Cadpress accounts for fiber orientation, it also predicts the anisotropic material properties of the final part which can interfaced to other simulation packages, e.g. ANSYS. Cadpress allows engineers to design parts for optimal strength with minimal shrinkage and warpage. Visit our website for more information at http://www.madisongroup.com
