FARADAY – 3D Eddy Current Field Solver

Used for applications such as induction motors, recording heads, non-destructive testing, charging fixtures, transformers and pacemakers, FARADAY’s calculations include force, torque, flux linkage, induced voltage, power, impedance and skin effects.

Featuring Integrated Engineering Software’s (IES) Boundary Element Method (BEM), FARADAY is especially well suited for simulating electromagnetic components and systems.
FARADAY also features advanced modeling techniques linking directly to parametric-based CAD packages for true geometric representation of complex shapes. FARADAY’s parametric solver also allows designers to automatically vary and experiment with geometry, materials and sources, reducing the tedious, repetitive task of fine-tuning multiple design parameters.
Other FARADAY features include:
Simulation of non-linear, permanent magnet and lossy magnetic materials
Static and phasor analysis modes
Force, torque, flux linkage, induced voltage, power, impedance and skin effects calculated
