TeamSET is an integrated concurrent engineering tool kit with the following functionality:
QFD - Quality Function Deployment is used to capture customer requirements and turn them into a prioritized list of design requirements.
DFA - Design for assembly gives designers a measure of the time and cost associated with a product design, and gives pointers to areas where costs could be reduced.
FMEA - FMEA helps the design team to identify risks associated with potential failures so that they can take the necessary corrective action.
DTC - Design to Target Cost helps the product design team to set cost targets for the whole product, and the various subsystems within it, down to whatever level is appropriate. It then compares the latest bottom-up cost estimates for each subsystem with the target, and identifies any variance for corrective action.
