Flowmaster V7 by Flowmaster International Ltd.

4.96 - What's this?

Flowmaster is a 1D CFD thermo-fluid system simulation software that is used by leading engineering organisations across a wide range of industries to solve thermo-fluid system design problems, quickly and easily.

Using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) at a system level, Flowmaster allows you to model and simulate your thermo-fluid systems much earlier in the development process. This facilitates the creation of a ‘digital prototype’ during the concept stage enabling you to understand how design alterations, component size and selection, operating conditions and other variables will affect the overall system performance.

Additional Product Information

Flowmaster V7 assists engineers in the analysis of fluid flow. Engineers use Flowmaster graphical user interface to build interactively schematic representations of pipe networks. Flowmaster is supplied with a database of commonly used components. This contains pictorial representations, performance data and characteristic curves.

The user chooses analysis modules appropriate to their application. Applications supported may be categorised broadly as:
· Automotive thermal management
· Automotive air conditioning
· Automotive fuel systems
· Automotive lubrication systems
· Automotive exhaust systems
· Aerospace fuel systems
· Aerospace environmental control systems
· Aerospace hydraulic systems
· Liquid systems
· Gas systems
· Co-simulation
The breadth of applications is supported by depth of analysis capability including steady state, transient, sizing, flow balancing, component interaction and heat transfer.

The software is appropriate for use in automotive, aerospace, power generation, utilities, defence, shipbuilding and oil/gas petrochemical companies.
