The PROTOR on-line system is a complete solution for vibration monitoring of rotating machines. Individual multi-channel acquisition and processing systems (RMDAS units) are linked to one or more powerful central database processors in an open structure network.;PROTOR provides both unitised and shared machine monitoring. Typically turbine-generators and other main plant units would have their own devoted RMDAS subsystems providing each unit with its own individual continuous on load, runup and rundown monitoring independent of any other unit. Other less critical auxiliary rotating machines may be grouped together to be monitored by a single RMDAS system.;PROTOR provides comprehensive alarm checking, mimics, trends, vector plots, FFT's and so on for real time and historic data.
