Additional Product Information

Affordable computer systems for providers in the food-service industry, utilizing Windows networks and the Internet. Systems ranging in size from a single workstation to over a dozen. Since produce prices change almost daily, this system will allow MANY (up to 100) item prices to change when a single cost is changed. For example, the cost of 50-lb bags of carrots changes. You could enter this into a future value, and when that is activated, the price for diced, sliced, julienne, soup mix 1, soup mix 2, raisin-carrot salad, and any other items containing carrots will change. In addition, the prices for different UOMs such as case, lb, each, tub, etc., will change. Finally, each customer can be set up with a different markup, allowing different prices for as many different customer categories as you wish. Typically, the changing cost of carrots will be entered as a new FUTURE cost, which might not become active until 5 a.m. Monday. However, you can produce a variety of price lists right now, showing the prices that will be effective Monday, and these can be directly faxed from your computer if you desire. You can produce price lists by customer type (e.g.,type A or B). Or you can produce unlimited custom price formats that allow you to quickly print a price list for a particular customer containing prices only for items he is interested in, at his particular discount value, and picking up any contract prices on file for him. Of course, the system prints invoices and billing statements, and allows adjustments and corrections on payments. It posts all financial information on sales and expenses to the General Ledger, and all accounting functions such as payroll, accounts payable, etc are available. Important management reports are quick and easy: Slow-payer analysis, Aging Report, Sales Analysis by Customer, Sales Analysis by Item, Sales History, etc.
