Global Workwear NT;Global Workwear has become the leading product in garment tracking for the Rental Industry. Commercial Laundries who use it have benefited from the wealth of features designed to assist both the Laundry and its Client in all aspects of Traceability and Control. Contracts ranging from ten wearers to those with thousands of wearers are handled by Global Workwear.;Global Workwear NT is now the standard. This has been totally rewritten to take advantage of the Windows NT Operating System. The new product contains everything that was in the old, plus a whole lot more. Under NT, Global Workwear is a totally Open system, with options for either Btrieve, or SQL Server database formats. ;Every garment is tracked through all areas of the Laundry and computer files updated with Washes, Rewashes and any Repairs. When garments exceed their life cycle the operator is warned, in order that the garment can be inspected and, if necessary, replaced.;Global Workwear stores all relevant details of Wearers on the system. This includes static details, plus a useful "notepad" where any relevant comments can be recorded.;The software design allows for Full or Split Rental Contracts to be efficiently managed, as well as Contracted Laundry for those clients who choose not to rent garments, but need a Laundry to manage the garments for them.;During each Accounting Period, invoices are raised for each type of service provided. This includes Rental, Contract Laundry, and "Starter" Invoices. All starters are billed from the point of issue of their garments, with a detailed schedule being printed to verify the associated invoice.;Global Workwear is part of a suite of software designed to assist the Laundry. These products include programs to manage locker allocations; driver routing; historic revenue recording; customer services logging; linen rental; garment purchase ordering and issuing; and garment stock control.;Global Workwear is written in 4GL, and is Millennium compliant. It runs under the Microsoft Windows NTŪ, Operating System.
