Optimus 2020 is a modular Networked Print Management System which maps and schedules production from Pre-Press right through to Post Press while collecting (automatically in many cases, remotely where not) true cost centre information, to provide added value and xot analysis of the performance of all resources and the print company over all, identifying the exact bottomline contribution of every piece of work that enters your factory.;The openness of the system allows for optimum compatibility. Optimus 2020 can interface with other quality software such as the SunSystems accounting package, the Cognos business intelligence packages and the Microsoft Office suite.;Optimus gives complete control and vision over the production process. The 2020 system can intergrate into a digital print production network and also directly into digital control systems, for example, the Pecom press control unit on MAN Roland presses of Heidelberg press control systems. This function gives the most accurate real time resource information direct form the presses.;Optimus 2020 is E-commerce ready and will allow commercial activities over the internet, for example the buying of consumables such as paper, ink and chemicals. Printer Net will allow customers to access Optimus 2020 for themselves to see exactly what stage their jobs are at.
