The IMPACT system includes Import Documentation, Invoicing, Accounts Receivable, Warehouse Tracking, and ABI Transmissions. The IMPACT system provides full control over Entry Documentation, Forms Preparation, and electronic U.S. Customs interfacing. This instantly translates and displays the result of all codes entered; provides for immediate HARMONIZED (TSUSA) duty lookup; at entry time computes and displays all duty; reveals classification proration results; and informs on a field by field basis the validity of Entry data. Office procedures are made easier by eliminating the need for manually typing forms and reducing the need manually submitting forms to U.S. Customs. , The IMPACT system expands management's control over the entire import/export sales/credit process through simple, logical and automated entry routines; flexible aging and past due service charging; unlimited Sales/Advance General Ledger distribution/analysis - all combined with instant inquiry to the master or detail level. The Customer Billing (invoicing) routines analyze all importer Entry associated activity; suggest invoicing rates based on the customer and on the services provided (flat rate or quantity - with minimum charge system override); allows you to override the system suggested billing; allows for operator insertion of additional service and advance charges and then passes the charges to the Accounts Receivable. If the optional General Ledger application is present, all affected accounts are updated.
