COSMOS, the complete insurance regulatory system for state insurance departments includes the following functionality: company admissions; producer licensing; consumer services; enforcement; continuing education; revenue management, etc. ;COSMOS, the complete insurance regulatory system, provides a cost-effective, client/server system. The system runs on Windows 95 or Windows NT workstations and is based on an Oracle database. For most customers, we recommend that COSMOS runs on a Sun UNIX platform. Data conversion services and on-site user training are included with the COSMOS package.;COSMOS provides the following functionality for insurance regulatory agencies: company admissions and tracking; producer licensing; consumer services; investigations and enforcement; continuing education; producer application processing; revenue management; rate and form filings tracking; and, regulatory examination tracking.;In addition, the COSMOS system will be compliant with the following technology initiatives from the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC): the Producer Database, Complaints Database System, and Regulatory Information Retrieval System.;Under an annual support agreement customers receive two upgrades of the system each year and technical support via phone and email. Database administration and other services are also available through the enhanced support agreement.
