Govern for Windows' Land Management software is an enterprise-wide solution that is very customizable and centralizes mission critical information enabling users easy access to data. ;Govern's Land Management modules includes permitting, inspection, complaint tracking, licensing, special assessment, utility billing, zoning, tax assessment and billing, personal property, accounts receivable and collections, mass appraisal and other information integrated to an activity control process. Inter departmental messaging and multimedia capabilities such as imaging, videos, etc. is also available. The application was developed using Microsoft Visual Basic®, and works on any database such as Oracle, Oracle NT, Informix, Microsoft SQL Server or other databases that are ODBC compliant.;Govern Software Inc., in a team effort with our customers, has successfully integrated Govern's property control module to ArcView, a desktop GIS from ESRI, to deliver a cost effective, user friendly Windows solution.
