The Human Services Management Information Services (HSMIS) is a comprehensive integrated software package designed to assist with the management of clinical, accounting and statistical information within the behavioral health industry. HSMIS accommodates the unique requirements and needs of behavioral health entities who are in the business of performing services for individuals and receiving payment for these services from a wide variety of funding sources--both governmental and private. Provision is made for billing and accounts receivable information, along with a magnitude of demographic, clinical and statistical information which must be collected and maintained by client. The system tracks a client from the moment the intake is entered, and records all subsequent events that occur. A client's clincial records can be totally maintained on-line and accessible throughout the enterprise without manually pulling charts. Our Financial Information System contains all of the elements needed to track, control and report the financial transactions of the center. HSMIS was designed following guidelines set forth by a Task Force for the National Conference on Mental Health Statistics.
