Designed to integrate with exiting patient administration and electronic patient record systems, it provides a secure and auditable repository for scanned images and other electronic files. Called Casenote/2000, the system employs Open Systems technology based
on powerful SQL platforms. It is fully compliant with e-gif recommendations and is available on Windows and Browsers.
The system can be configured to use a static demographic enquiry file, or dynamically access a Trust patient database. Scanning – with virtually any scanner - uses active quality control and bar codes for automatic indexing and audit. Records are stored within a highly flexible and reliable document management system that provides excellent security, full audit trails and a wide range of workflow and browser access options. Full reports are available for operational management and audit needs.
The system has been designed to achieve optimal throughput of even difficult records. Existing medical records staff can be quickly and easily trained in the use of the software. Most importantly, Casenote/2000 is designed to maximise staff productivity without compromising security or proper auditing.
