Additional Product Information

Entrypoint Plus is a complete electronic data capture system. Entrypoint is built around an advanced, scalable, client-server network architecture and uses ODBC to interface with SQL databases for storage of data.
Entrypoint is built around several applications: The Application Developer, Data Entry Workstation, Administrator, and Entrypoint Server.
Special Features for Clinical Trials
* Internal Security Features let you create a customized, fine-grained security policy⎯specific to your needs⎯independently of operating system provided security. You can control access to certain modules, batches, batch utilities, reports, and records.
* Audit Trail Facility allows you to keep a record of all data entered into the batch, who made the entries, and when they were entered. You can also track all changes to the batch by operator and time the changes were made. The audit trail facility will also record operator comments about the changes.
* Application Revise Facility lets you update a protocol during an ongoing study and reformat batches after an application is changed.
* Batch Compare allows for independent double-entry verification by comparing two batches created from the same application. It generates a report of the differences between the batches.
* CRF Template is a typical application for clinical trials which lets you enter information on demographics, medical history, examination data, adverse reactions, and lab information. You can modify this application to meet the needs of your study.
* DOS to Windows Converter is an option for the many users of Entrypoint/90 to convert their legacy applications to Windows.
