The Eventizer software product has been developed to meet the information management needs of organisers of big events, such as scientific congresses. Eventizer is a comprehensive solution: it offers tools for such tasks as managing events - programme, participant registrations, accommodation reservations, and invoicing. In addition, Eventizer easily brings events to the Internet, by publishing event information in the Web, receiving Web registrations and supporting E-mail correspondence.

The Eventizer software consists of modules that handle specific event organising business tasks. Data can be consistently shared between the modules. For example, the registration data is shared among the registration, accommodation and invoicing modules., All functionality has been developed to support multilingual, international events. Language and culture dependent functionality can easily be customized., The basic operations are performed using a common Windows based user interface.Event programme management module Information of various event programme items, like sessions, exhibitions, tours and social programme, can be stored in the database for analysis, reporting and Internet publishing. Eventizer provides automation for the handling of presentations and abstracts in scientific congresses.Registration management module Participant registrations are entered in the system either using the Eventizer user interface or using the Web registration. Eventizer produces confirmation letters and statistics.Accommodation management module The event organiser can handle accommodation reservations for the participants using Eventizer's accommodation management functionality. Accommodation can be invoiced together with the participation fee.Invoicing module The invoicing module provides functionality to create invoices and track payments. Various payment methods are supported, including cash and credit card payments. Also reminders and refunding functionality are provided.The Eventizer Web interface helps in getting the events to the Internet.Event information publishing Using Eventizer, the organiser can use the events' information in the database to generate Web pages for Internet publishing. The pages can be customized for each event. The changes in the programme can easily be updated to the Web.Web registration Participants can submit their registration to the event using Eventizer's Web registration functionality. The Web registrations are directly stored in the database for further processing.E-mail correspondence Eventizer provides functionality to use E-mail in correspondence with the participants. For example, a participant that submits registration through the Web can get an E-mail confirmation when the registration has been accepted.
