Self-Source is an add-on module to the HRSource database/HRIS. It enables manager self-service and employee self-service in small to medium-sized organizations. SelfSource™ is a server-based tool that is entirely compatible with any popular Internet browser, such as Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer.
With SelfSource™, experience an increase in efficiency and overall productivity. SelfSource reduces the burden of data entry on the Human Resources department. Employees input and update their own information (demographic, benefits, training, etc.) instead of filling out a paper form for HR to enter into the database, ensuring accuracy of information and eliminating the challenge of interpreting difficult-to-read handwriting or cryptic abbreviations. Employees take responsibility for maintaining the accuracy of their data. Routine questions such as “How much vacation time do I have?” or “In which benefits plans did I enroll?” can be answered quickly. Employees save time. HR gets more time to perform higher-leverage tasks.
