PIRAMIS is an ORACLE-based, modular human resource management system implemented in a client/server architecture. The system offers scalability, broad parametrization and a high degree of fault tolerance, and is optimized for on-line access in WAN enviroments. As one of the ERP subsystems it interfaces to other subsystems (Financials, Logistics, Manufacturing) of the ERP system.

The PIRAMIS system provides up-to-date reports for the departments of Personnel, Human Resources, Payroll Accounting, Payroll Management, Social Security, Financials, Accounting and Controlling. Users can freely parametrize their queries and reports to support the preparation of multilevel management decisions.;Automation integrated in the system ensures efficient data processing. Business logic is stored on the server side, allowing the remote management of the system.;User access rights can be controlled cebtrally at module, function and data level, which allows the robust serving of a large number of users and provides secure data management.;To prove the efficiency of the PIRAMIS system, here is a list of some of its functions:;- simultaneous serving of multiple legal entities;- management of multiple concurrent agreements;- integrated time stamp;- integrated data base - once-only data entry, shared access;- processes can be defined centrally as well as by the users to implement the typical business processes;- large volumes of data changes caused by churn and reorganization automatically flow through the entire system;- freely user-definable queries;- system operation supported by a separate module;- user-definable contact and administration data - descriptive or based on a coding scheme;The user interface of the apptications uses standard Windows components.
