Additional Product Information
NEW STANDARD GIVES PLATFORM INDEPENDENCE, REDUCED COST OF OWNERSHIP, CENTRAL DATA CONTROL
ISE is built on the J2EE standard to deliver the advantages of platform independence. It runs on local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and the Internet. ISE can connect to any enterprise level SQL database including Oracle, SQL Server and DB2. It can also run on virtually any operating system including Windows XP, Linux, OSX and AIX.
ISE supports web browser based clients as well as Java-based rich clients. Because ISE uses J2EE Open Standards, it is dramatically less expensive to maintain and deploy than traditional applications. You'll be able to extract just the information you need without having to pay for custom integration. Also, IT administration is minimized because ISE upgrades and enhancements are automatically installed from the server as clients log on.
INTEROPERABILITY WITH ENTERPRISE APPLICATIONS AND PORTALS
Employee data lies in many applications across the enterprise. Personnel scheduling in protective service organizations needs and supplies information with Finance, Ops, HR and Payroll applications. ISE is also designed to seamlessly integrate with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications, corporate portals, legacy applications and other enterprise solutions to collect the information necessary to efficiently manage employee deployment. InTime, using J2EE standards, can support XML, SOAP and Web services.
3-TIER ARCHITECTURE REDUCES HARDWARE COSTS
ISE uses 3 Tier architecture to reduce your hardware needs. In a 3 Tier system the business rules are handled by the application server on the middle tier. The only information being transferred and stored on the database are parcels of processed data. This design minimizes the data flow across the network and reduces the amount of the database processing.
DAILY ROSTER GIVES SNAPSHOT OF ENTERPRISE
In protective service organizations, personnel accounts for 75 to 90%, or more, of the operating budget. The efficient and safe running of an organization depends upon proper allocation of those personnel. The Daily, or Duty Roster is the organization's single most important document because, it shows who works, where and when. But where does all the information come from to create the Roster? And how are changes to the Roster? And how are changes to the Roster reflected in other applications and systems? That's the beauty of Enterprise applications. You enter data only once. Redundant databases and data input are eliminated. Each system receives and supplies data to other interrelated applications.
SCALABILITY MEANS YOU WON'T OUTGROW ISE
ISE is a truly scalable scheduling solution. From small organizations to large enterprises InTime's J2EE scheduling solution is ready to improve efficiency and convenience for organizations and employees alike.
CENTRALIZED DATA WITH DISTRIBUTED ACCESS FROM MULTIPLE CLIENT DEVICES
Centralized data with centralized access control is the most secure way to protect the integrity of your information. Now ISE using J2EE standards can give access to employees by supporting an unprecedented number of access devices, including: Telephone; Wireless devices; Access Control; Time clocks; Cell Phones. And, just like a conventional network, all these clients can easily be maintained using J2EE hot client upgrade capabilities.
