TIME+
is a fully featured and highly flexible computerised
system for the collection, processing and management
of data relating to employee attendance at the place

collect and validate clockings, give messages and present
optional reports to employees. Applications covered
include:
Time
& Attendance Recording

Shop Floor Data Collection
NB
– TIME+ ALSO MEETS EC WORKING TIME REQUIREMENTS
Time
Clock Terminals
Time
Clock Terminals have been developed by Clear Systems
in parallel with the TIME+ software to ensure
close integration between the collection of clocking
data at the Time Clock and the centralised computer
system. The Time Clocks recognise employee clockings
by reading magnetic stripe clocking cards. These transactions
are communicated directly to the Host Computer, but
also retained within the Time Clock for a period to
provide back-up to the central system. The number of
Time Clocks which can be connected to a system is primarily
limited only by the size and power of the central computer
system selected and can be linked by direct serial connection,
network connection or via modem from remote locations.
The Time Clock can also provide Access Control facilities
by operating suitable door locks via a remote weatherproof
card reader. For full detail please request our Time
Clock Terminal data sheet.
Central
Computer System
The
Central Computer can be any UNIX, NT or Windows 2000
system equipped with any of a wide range of Post-Relational
Database Management Systems, including uniVerse, UniData,
D3, jBase and Reality. The Host Computer can therefore
be anything from a simple PC to a large multi-processor
system enabling TIME+ to meet the needs of small,
medium and very large organisations. The system can
be installed on existing equipment which is particularly
beneficial where integration with Payroll and Personnel
Systems is required. The choice of UNIX, NT or Windows
2000 provides for full integration with other applications
and systems in an open manner. Using a Post-Relational
Database Management System provides powerful reporting
and data handling tools in a multi-user environment,
even on inexpensive PC's or work-stations.
TIME+
Software
The
TIME+ Software provides extensive facilities
to allow definition in advance of employee working patterns
and associated pay rates. Exceptions in an employee's
expected working hours are highlighted, including lateness,
early leaving, unapproved overtime and absence. Payable
hours are calculated and analysed at various pay rates
ready for approval and transfer to Payroll. Extensive
reporting is provided based on TIME+ standard
reports augmented by a powerful enquiry language, with
SQL and ODBC compatibility, for the production of "ad
hoc" user reports. A comprehensive password system is
included to protect sensitive information and all exceptions.
Importantly comprehensive facilities are now included
to manage and monitor compliance with the EC Working
Time Directive.
