Residential Component Technology (RCT) by Marshall & Swift / Boeckh

2.38 - What's this?

RCT lets field estimators and underwriters calculate the most reliable replacement values for virtually any kind of home - from turn of the century painted ladies to contemporary homes, condos and co-ops. Built upon the "total component" methodology originated by MS/B, RCT literally prices the cost to build a structure from the ground up for standardized, accurate valuations based on actual home characteristics.

Additional Product Information

RCT is designed to fit the workflow of busy underwriters and field estimators. The program includes knowledge tables to let users enter a minimal amount of information and still obtain a replacement cost valuation based on the property insurance industry's leading reconstruction cost database.

Over 30,000 construction line items are researched to the 5-digit ZIP code level. The program includes important GIS information for special conditions like hillside construction, earthquake or windstorm areas. Databases are updated quarterly.

Detailed yet easily understood printable reports are exportable into spreadsheets for analysis by managers.
