OVERVIEW OF LAWBASE
LawBase has been refined and perfected over the last twenty years to create the most flexible, powerful, and easy to use case management system available.
LawBase is a Case Management system designed to increase the productivity of your office. LawBase is currently being used by thousands of law office personnel across the country and internationally. Users include small, medium and large law firms; corporate legal departments; and, governmental agencies.
LawBase is able to serve the needs of each of these different types of users by providing a fully adaptable system that "thinks the way that you do." This allows your office to use your own vocabulary, organization and presentation style.
LawBase is also easy to use, and it's intuitive design and straightforward approach has won praise from our users. In fact, the first LawBase user is still a user of the program today!

Adaptable Object Oriented Database – More flexibility than ever before is now possible with the inclusion of complex data such as pictures, sound files, movies and more. LawBase also allows you to create or modify database screens with our included easy-to-use LawBase Design program.
New User Interface – Using the latest Windows Explorer and Outlook interface technology, LawBase is now even easier to use and navigate. Additionally, you can now choose to use LawBase via a web interface as well.
SmartFolders™ - A unique method of automatically grouping files and matters in any manner you desire. You can create smart folders to track cases by attorney, or by subject or any other information in your system. This means that cases can be located by your users without ever having to touch the keyboard.
Case Notes – Provides a quick and easy way to keep track of case status by allowing for an unlimited amount of free form text to be entered. Notes can also be created automatically by dragging an Outlook email message onto the file. You can also attach a document, letter, etc. to the note card for later review by yourself or others.
Contacts – A completely adaptable electronic address book allows for unlimited modification. Easy linking of contacts to matters allows you to enter contacts only once and means that they only have to be updated in a single location.
Calendar – Improved calendar allows for graphic group scheduling and is visually pleasing with the addition of week, month and year views. LawBase also tracks your critical dates and calendar items which can be viewed either on your calendar or from within a matter. If your office is already using an electronic calendar such as Outlook®, Groupwise® or Lotus®, LawBase can integrate directly with these applications.
OfficeLink™ - Allows the linking of any documents, which can be viewed or launched directly from within LawBase.
HotDocs – LawBase comes bundled with Hot Docs® allowing you to intelligently produce personalized documents with a few keystrokes. LawBase's integration with Hot Docs® allows for automatic creation of notes and tasks.
Interfaces – LawBase works with other applications that your office may already be using such as Elite®, Juris®, Summation®, Concordance®, iManage®, PC Docs®, WorldDox®, Handshake® and many others.
