Additional Product Information

This set of modules provides the capabilities to design labels, print batches of labels, create "on-demand" labels from application programs by piping (sending) data or files to the Label Formatter.   BARCODE 2000TM integrates the 1D and 2D bar codes, data, text, boxes, lines, and other graphics, and prints the label.;Label Designer:  This JAVA-based module is required to create the label template.  Easily modify designs and adjust font, size, density, and height with a click-and-select menu.  The label is displayed in WYSIWYG format, and a test label can be printed at any time.;Label Formatter:   This module provides the data mapping and printing services.  Send or pipe data directly from a program or file to the print manager, and the labels print!   Label name, quantity of labels to print, and user data fields are included in each record.  Multiple label types can be processed at the same time.  Labels can be generated by directly piping data to the Formatter, or creating a file and shelling out to the Formatter.  Programs can also write to a file(s) and initiate the label printing when the labels are needed.;Label Data Dictionary Editor:   This module provides the onetime definition of your label data fields, such as Part Number, Ship Quantity, or Ship To Company.  Then you are able to use the defined fields in one or all your label designs that you save in your template directory.;Interactive Data Entry:   Immediately after a label is designed, production labels can be produced with this module.  A data entry screen is dynamically built from the variable data fields definitions for the selected label.  Simply enter the data and print the label on the desired available printer.
