Specifying a barcode is simple using the Cobwebb PC Designer Barcode Tool. Any data on the spooled file can be used in the barcode, and up to 30 characters can be added both before and after the barcode to enable the barcode to be read directly into a user application.

Barcodes created on documents produced by Cobwebb/PPD may be read directly into an application by simulating the command line sequence to call the appropriate program.
• Laser or Thermal printing
Bar Code Labels may be printed on plain paper using a Laser printer or a suitable Thermal Printer. Printers can be connected to the network.
• Fully Integrated
Cobwebb/BarCode when used with Cobwebb/PPD can produce barcode Labels, reformat and print a document at the same time, thus incorporating in one product the functions previously often requiring two different products. Cobwebb/PPD will save you money as well
as improving your documentation.
• Package solution
Cobwebb/BarCode can be specified with an Eltron LP2844 Direct Thermal Printer giving a total solution.
