EASYLABEL® 5 Platinum for custom designing and printing product identification, bar code and RFID labels and tags and tickets on a wide range of thermal/thermal transfer, laser and dot matrix bar code label printers. (RFID is supported on selected thermal transfer printers only. EASYLABEL 5 includes an RFID Wizard that currently supports the RFID enabled Zebra, Printronix and Datamax thermal transfer label printers; with more printer drivers being added as other printer manufacturers add RFID capabilities to their printers. The EASYLABEL RFID Wizard takes the worry out of creating and printing smart labels with its extensive support for EPC (Electronic Product Code) and other RFID specifications.
EASYLABEL also features an EAN/UCC-128 Wizard that makes creating EAN/UCC-128s a simple 4-step process. The Wizard simply prompts you for the required information and then builds the bar code automatically! Even codes with multiple Application Identifiers are quick and easy to create with EASYLABEL’s EAN/UCC Wizard.
EASYLABEL includes several other exciting features to make printing labels faster and easier for you; like support for USB printing with its super fast bi-directional data transfer, compliance tools for the FDA 21 CFR Part 11 regulation, European multi-lingual Risk and Safety phrases for Hazardous Chemical labeling regulations and much more. EASYLABEL 5 supports Microsoft’s ActiveX® Data Objects (ADO) providing you with the fastest, easiest and most productive means for accessing all kinds of data sources. The new database editor uses Microsoft’s OLE DB giving you the freedom to view and edit most any database from inside EASYLABEL.

EASYLABEL 5 features a new user interface, advanced database functions and support for ActiveX controls for greater functionality and flexibility. The new EASYLABEL 5 user interface provides thumbnail previews for formats, fonts and pictures to more easily create labels. New advanced editing tools give users the ability to resize and stretch fields with a click and drag of the mouse, and extended cross hairs, snap to grid and increased levels of zoom allow you to calculate your exact position on the label. And to make it easier to align fields, new alignment and justification choices have been added. EASYLABEL 5 provides faster editing properties in a number of different fields, with the ability to change all of the common properties (such as character or font style) at the same time, from one screen. And, once the label is designed, you have the flexibility to print thousands of the same label or you can print individual, unique labels by reading information from a database, an external text file, serial file, operator-entered variable data or data from an external input device. With such powerful features as Command File Monitoring, DDE (Dynamic Data Exchange), ODBC and ActiveX/COM controls, you can effortlessly communicate with and control EASYLABEL. Printing can originate from an AS/400, mainframe, UNIX or host system. A link to Visual Basic, Delphi, C, C++ and other applications that support ActiveX facilitates the creation of custom screens, entry boxes and controls. By using EASYLABEL, you can connect to MRP II (Manufacturing Resource Planning), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, and BAAN and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems). EASYLABEL supports all the popular linear and two-dimensional bar codes allowing for full compliance with automotive, government, health care, shipping container standards, FDA, Department of Transportation and OSHA labeling requirements.
